though the basic principle behind induction motor is similar
to a transformer but the reason to use a transformer is to
step up or down the voltage level in desired lvl. which is
different for a Induction Motor.
Moreover the losses for a rotating unit will
increase....efficiency will decrease...out put will come
down...for a transformer it is not desired...

No...if voltage is induced in a circuit as a result current
will occur..so separation is impossible and it is very true
that "current is the cause of voltage" indeed
