why DC motor body is plain cover but AC motor is different
like finse?

Answer

only for cooling purpose ac motor has out side cooling fan
while dc has insite fan because we can very the voltage of
armature not of field so heat is generate is there so
require to cool the armature not field in ac motor
viceversa.
