If, we convirt KVA INTO AMP, following formula wil be
appliesd.

I= P/V*Cos(PI) ...........for single phase

OR I = KVA*800/[V*Cos(PI)]

I= P/1.732*V*Cos(PI) ...........for three phase

OR = KVA*800/[1.732*V*Cos(PI)]

transformer, we take its rating in KVA = V.I.Cos.ф. so that
whatever would be the power factor, can be taken to
calculate the load.
