can we step up dc power using transformer?


Answer

NO,We can not step up DC power using transformer.
DC having both potantial (ie.+ve &-ve )and when it is
connected to primary wdg. of transformer ,primary get short
ckt.& burned (Heat wiil produced).
BUT THERE IS ANOTHER WAY -
* First convert DC power into AC power by using inverters &
after then that AC power can convert into DC power by
rectifire at suitable range as you required.
