Why COBOL/400 is giving 95 session error when opening a file even though the file is having key and the screen or display file is having IND ARA defined?

Answer

I tried to compile the PF with key as well as non-key and also tried with
IND ARA and not IND ARA keyword. Still it is giving 95 error when opening
the files (DSPF as well as PF or LF Files)

Answer

If initialization not done or if there is parity is allocating for packed decimal encountering odd parity, the error will come.
