I am from B.Tech back ground, i had Applied to do masters in
Engineering management, and university gave Admission and
sent I-20, if the interviewer asks why are doing masters in
this field, even you are from B.Tech (ECE)?
Can any one give me relevant answer, if interviewer asks
that question

Every company became successful because of the management,
Management studies in India with US degree have more
opportunities in India, so want to do masters in Engineering
management

Mangaement study is an integral part of any degree, we
already have studied the slightest part of it and to be
honest management is all about our technical and analytical
aspects let out from brain, in order to be a tough
competitor, i like to extend myself with management studies
and also i storngly believe develpoment in aspect of
management comes through the most experienced persons, who
in my concern are the professors who teach Management. So
this made me intrested to do Engineering Management, which i
find is very intresting and also a career booster.

professionals who have management skills along with
technical skills. and we can't completely dependent on
technical field.

Is it necessary to show the Toefl and GRE Scores in the interview?

HELP my visa interview was on 21st dec...n i got denied reason being that my siblings are there. I met a friend through the internet. He's from USA and older than me. We've been online together for 2 years now. We now decided to meet up. Despite disapproval from my family, we still want to be together. So we planning that i go to USA and be together with him, and cause i'm only 20yrs old, i myself still want to study. He said he's going to sponsor me in the USA. We'll meet in May soon. My family won't sponsor me of course. My questions are, 1. What if the interviewer ask who gonna sponsor me, what shud i say? And if i say my US boyfriend, bet my visa will get rejected cause they wud think i go to USA to be with my boyfriend and not to study. 2.To grant the visa, would they check for the approval of my family first? 3. I'm from Malaysia, and from what i know, the success rate of visa interview are higher, for those who apply from countries that have lower/lowest populations students in US schools? Is it true?
I am admitted in University of Colorado, Boulder for the telecommunications program along with some scholarship. My GRE is 1410 and TOEFL is 108 and a aggregate of 65% in engineering. I have reecived 4 other admits and only one reject(Had applied only to 6 univs.) I have to elder sisters , both are in the US., one is Green card holder and other is on H1B status.
