Workflow is a Predefined Business flow functionality.
Ex: For any approval requires or any business flow requires
we use workflow. (For PO, If u required an approval
hierarchy for PO amounts level.)
We define the workflow in the workflow builder.

Worklfow is a notification trigger in the business flow.
Default workflow send notifications to immediate
supervisors. However, at times company modify these
workflow where information has to be shared downward
heirarch as well.
For Example - PR is submitted by a requester to his
supervisor for approval on Upward hierarchy.
another example - When Projects are approved the modified
notifications are shared with all key members to inform
that planned activities can take off by respective members.
