In Report page i have three types like (List,Cross
tab,Chart), using Conditional Block i need only type of
Report (Chart)at run time.How to do this I need The Complete
Steps to do this?

1) Create a prompt page
2) Drag Value Prompt
3) Create 3 static values List/Chart/Crosstab
4) set default value to chart
4) create string variable and drag that value prompt
parameter in that
5) create three string variables for List/Chart/CrossTab
6) In the report page select conditional block properties
and point to that variable to Block variable
7) current variable point to>Chart then drag the chart into
the conditional block
8) and do for remaining strings
run the report

I have 7500 rows. I need all rows in single reports. Which type of prompt we have used retrieving all rows and show in a report? We have dynamical queries q1, q2, q3, q4, q5. I have created a database "TestingDB" in MS SQL Server 2005. I have set the port properties and the Cognos Service is up. But I don't see anything in the Cognos. In the administration i have set the ODBC connection and it tested successfully.If i copy the samples to the appropriate directory then i can see the samples.But I don't know how to do the same thing with my own database "TestingDB". As i have configure the cognos in my company which is having a database (very near to production database).I am a novice in cognos. Please help me out.
