hi this is vijaya bhaskar. i attended interview today i.e
29th may 2009.i am allotted to 4th panel.please take away
all the certificates they asked to produce.other wise you
will be sent out no doubt in that mainly OBC certificate and
bank challen.i am B.tech Graduate. there are three members
in the panel.they offered me a chair to sit. i am working
IEG as it professional.
==>they asked me about the work nature of ieg.
==>why ur entering into banking as ur BTech graduate
==>what is the difference b/n electrical and electronics
==>electrical project description
==>if u post to rural area r u ready to shift(i said yes)
==>they asked me about my hobbies(i wrote ariting articles
and submitting on web, they asked me what is that and
explain about that)
==>what is internet
panel four is some what cool as they are not touching any
banking questions and current affairs.

Hi All
This is with respective to the reservation of OBC which was
carried out in SBI interviews
Unfortunately I had a bad experience , however heard that
too many people are reverted by
SBI because of mainly OBC certificate. I would like to know
did any one provided the OBC certificate for “SHAIK” which
is under Muslim minority community. We all know that it’s
validate in AP under BC-E category, however still have
doubt on the central level consideration.
If anyone submitted the OBC for this category please
provide an input about how to get this.

hi frends..
This is Surbhi. Today 28th May i Had attended my Interview
for SBM in Bangalore.. Interview was nice. They asked me
very simple Questions. Panel has 4 members and one of them
wass a Lady.. Panel members were very cool. I was the first
person in my panel who had attended the interview. The
questions that they asked me are very general:
1. Tell me the speciality of ur city? (I belong to Rajasthan)
2. How u Motivates Others? (As i m MBA IN HR and Marketing)
3. Difference Between Marketing and Selling?
4. What is Marginal Utility Theory? (As economics was one of
my subject in Graduation)
5. Some Questions on Hobbies?
6. What are the functions undertaken by Banks?
7. Questions About my Training Period during MBA?
8. Why do u want to settle in Bangalore?
9. About my Family Background?
Thats it.. Interview was of 10 minutes..they are just
checking our confidence level.. nothing else.. so no need to
worry answer confidentally..and ya one most important thing
plz kindly check ur documents properly as verification
process is very tough...i also faced some problems bt at
last i cleared that level..All the best to those who r going
to appear for Interview..can anyone tell me when results of
Interview can b expected??

Hi,I have attended interview on 23.05.2009 of SBI Associate Banks(Clerical). I have posted my exerience alredy. I am hereby want to give some precautions that are to be taken and general doubts that arise about interview and documents to be submitted. Feel free if u still have doubts to call 9492038751, Hyderabad, Andhrapradesh. First thing is to reach the interview centre by 30 minutes before the time given in your call letter. For SBH candidates of Andhra Pradesh Region 150, SBI Staff Training Centre, West Marredpally, Secunderabad. It is near by Rathi file city bus stand, Secunderabad. it is very nearer to Secunderabad City Bus Stop or Central railway station. You hardly have spend 20 to 25 rupees for auto or u can reach by walk also from railway station or bus stop. Secondly, take one set of all certificates and take a character certificate from Gazetted Officer (High Head Master, Govt Doctor, Govt College Principal, Lecturers of Govt. Colleges, Central Govt Officers, State Govt. Officers) Similarly identity certificate also be signed by the Gazetted Officer. Both Identity Certificate and Character Certificates may be signed by the same Gazetted Officer there is no problem. Thirdly, If u belong to OBC community, compulsorily that certificate should be dated on or after 01.01.2008 only. Otherwise u will not be allowed to attend interview. Fourthly, try to take some paper special paper napkins as the interview may take place in the afternoon even if u are informed to attend at 08;30 in the morning to keep ur face fresh. Remember to enquire of bathroom on entering the interview location and dont feel shy. It is necessary to make u look afresh before interview panel because when ur turn comes all the makeup whetever we did might got disturbed. Fifthly, try to brush up ur core subjects in basics only and have knowledge on banking terminology and current affairs. Sixtly, you should read the news paper on the day u r attending interview. Note down points on sports, political, economical issues. Be particular about mentioning about ur hobbies. There will be questions on ur hobbies and it ur hobby is any game or sports u should be thorough with the national and international events, persons relating to that game/sport According to some information, interview will have 35 marks, out of which 5 marks will be allotted for hobbies. So be carful while mentioning hobbies. Coming to extra curricular activities, mention it and submit copies of certications also. u may/may not pose question. Best of luck to all.
