he suggested 2 prepare
1. ur subject
2. current affairs
3. abt banking(basic things)

I've one doubt regarding biodata form identity certificate
attestation...do v need 2 attest tht in original form and
take its 3 xerox or after taking the photo copy v need 2
attest the identity certificate in xerox copies?pls give me
a reply as soon as possible...

This is Swapna(MCA).I had my interview on 26th.
sorry i am sharing my interview experience late,b'caz it
took time 4 me to come to my place from hyd.

It was good(20 min).
The panel members are friendly,by talking nicely ther r
getting why we came for,how confidant we r,the things we
wrote in biodata r correct r not ?

the qns i faced:

1.tell me about ur self,ur family,ur husband?
2.How computers r useful in banking?
3.Banking sector has already automized,now what will u do
with ur computer knowledge?
4.why gap after ur MCA?
5.What u know about sbi?
6.how many associate banks?
7.What u mean by merging of banks?
8.what is mail merge in ur computers?
9.did u visit bank ?how many times?for what?
10.what did u observe there?how is it? did u like it?
which is good?
11.2 or 3 qns regarding hobby?(be honest )

12.next member2 a madam,asked u have excellent record
throughout ur education,got best project award in ur mca
why don't u take projects in s/w sector?
i told i want to go for securable job which is pressureless?
then she asked "Do u mean that banking job is pressure
less or cool job"?.
any how i have convinced her.

13.member3 asked that if u try in ur field u will get
double salry.why u came for Rs 7000/-?
what is the use of ur higher education ?
i said my views .......

14.do u want to escape from the all the pressures and
hurdles in ur life ?
I said no and i explained why i prefferd this,looks
convinced
15.If u r placed in rural areas what about ur family,what
about ur husband?(b'caz he is in s/w sector)?

I said we will make adjustments accordingly......

no gk,no current affaires, i think commerce candidates r
facing more banking related qns.

exactly ,the interviews r for checking the confidence level
of the candidate,not his knowledge

This is Surbhi. Today 28th May i Had attended my Interview
for SBM in Bangalore.. Interview was nice. They asked me
very simple Questions. Panel has 4 members and one of them
wass a Lady.. Panel members were very cool. I was the first
person in my panel who had attended the interview. The
questions that they asked me are very general:
1. Tell me the speciality of ur city? (I belong to Rajasthan)
2. How u Motivates Others? (As i m MBA IN HR and Marketing)
3. Difference Between Marketing and Selling?
4. What is Marginal Utility Theory? (As economics was one of
my subject in Graduation)
5. Some Questions on Hobbies?
6. What are the functions undertaken by Banks?
7. Questions About my Training Period during MBA?
8. Why do u want to settle in Bangalore?
9. About my Family Background?
Thats it.. Interview was of 10 minutes..they are just
checking our confidence level.. nothing else.. so no need to
worry answer confidentally..and ya one most important thing
plz kindly check ur documents properly as verification
process is very tough...i also faced some problems bt at
last i cleared that level..All the best to those who r going
to appear for Interview..can anyone tell me when results of
Interview can b expected??

hey guys i attended my interview on 29th April in a delhi zone.They were asking so simple question that i was surprised. I preapred day and night for the interview collecting all the question from this link and other site as well as from GS book but they simply asked 1) tell us about ur family 2) about u 3) Why u want to join banking and not IT . 4) Advantages and disadvantages of computer. 5) Where is hawamahal. 6) about pink city 7) who discovered electron. 8) who invented telephone. that's all I think it was just waste of time preparing banking related questions.
