START DATE : 21st August 2008
END DATE : 29th August 2008
NAME OF MODULE : Sign-Up
1. Font should be readable.
2. The color combination is appropriate.
3. The spelling is all correct.
4. The grammar used is correct.
5. Starting alphabet of the word should be capital.
6. Help menu should be provided whenever necessary
7. Description should be displayed when pointer moves to
certain icon, menu, tool, link etc.

In addition to the above cases :-
- Lay out of the page must be correct.
- Text overlapping should not be there
- If there is any Hyper link then it should work properly
- Hyper link should not show Error Page "404 - HTTP.. page
not found"
- URL address must be checked "www.Example.com" and it
should show home page.

In addition to above testcases..........
checking the tab order of the homepage, what is mentioned
in the requirement document.
checking the buttons consistency like size,color,font etc
Image,icons,edit fields..etc there must be placed in
correctly r not.
check whether all the required objects are present in home
page or not.

IN USABILITY TEST WE TEST FOR NAVIGATION CHECK(TAB ORDER,FOCUS OF THE CURSOR) SECOND ONE IS VIEW CHECK (CHECK WHETHER THE ENTIRE PAGE VIEW PROPERTY WITHOUT ANY OVERLAPPING)AND ANOTHER ONE IS IDENTITY CHECK (CHECK FOR THE LABEL AND WINDOWS ARE UNIQUE AND CLEAR WITH CONTENT.TOOL TIP CHECK(WHEN A POINTER IS MOVE ON A ICON OR A IMAGE IT'S DESCRIPTION SHOULD BE DISPLAYED)

(questions asked in interview)hi every one can any one please answer to this questions.these questions were asked in an interview.i have another interview next week . 1.when the time schedule is tight how will you approch the testing,and the relese is nearing and we need to finish testing how can we follow in that case.do we need to exicute all the test cases or can priortise and leave some to next relase. 2. when a new feature is added to the existing application we need to add new test cases but after that do we need to change all the existing test cases and while running do we need to exicute entire application test cases or only the new feature test cases and related new feature test cases. 3.do you have any situation where you have to write and exicute the test cases same time, how will you follow.does it happens in real time. 4.example of bug which is not reproducible.like tester say that there is bug and developer say no can some example of such bugs. 5.during regression testing some times do we need to add new some additional test cases to test that bug.
