what is the difference between noise and distortion?..

Answer / chhina

Noise: it is a unwanted signal . THUS THESE UNWANTED
SIGNAL IS REFFERED AS NOISE. WHICH DEGRADE THE THE QUALITY
OF THE SIGNAL.
Distortion; WHEN TWO OR MORE SIGNALS CONTRACT WITH EACH
OTHER(DUE TO IMPROPER LAUNCHING,THEN RECEIVED SIGNAL IS
REFFERED AS A DISTORTED SIGNAL. WHICH LIMITS THE POWER OF
THE SIGNAL.

what is the difference between noise and distortion?..

Answer / ifraz inam khan

Noise defined as the unwanted modulation or unwanted signal that gets superimposed with the information signal

Distortion defined as any unexpected change in the shape of any waveform. In this case signal is no longer pure but it has additional frequency components which are known as harmonics.
