Im a chef working in curiselines and I did my bachelors in
culinary arts.

For interviews relating to kitchen training or employment
one thing which counts or which will be asked is how good
are you at the knowledge of food and they always try to
gauge your passion for food.

People always co-relate hotel jobs with long working
hours ,difficult, tiring so on and so forth. One thing I
would like to ask one thing -in which profession today
people are working less than 12 hours. You see our so called
white collar doctors,no doctor works less than 15 hours a
day.Coming to our MNc's and IT companies Im sure nobody
works less than 12 to 15 hours and that too with lot of
mental stress with deadlines and targets to meet.So today
all porfessions are the same but the best thing about a
career in food production is its different creative and
challenging withh comes with lot of appreciation and
fame.Kitchen jobs do not become monotonous and are very
very rewarding once you to start mastering the art of
cooking.Till the world exists you have people who have to
eat and this is one industry which will never be affected
by recession unlike the MNC's or the IT sector
