how tan-delta test is performed?
Answer / k.prakashchandra
HV Tr ratio arm bridge is used for measurement of tan delta
and capacitance. The tests are conducted with 1.HV winding vs
LV winding grounded to tank.2.LV vs HV grounded 3. HV vs LV
ungrounded.4.Bushing insulation with respect to test tap.
The highest is selected .Test voltage is 2.5 to 15 KV for HV
and 1 to 1.5 KV for LV, in case of 110/11 KV Tr
