Dry bulb temperature is temperature of air in dry
thermameter where as wet bulb temperature is temperature of
air measured in wet condition (thermameter is wrapped with
wetted piece of cotton)
Dry bulb and wet bulb temperature is used to get
psychrometric values(like Relative humidity, Grains of
moisture, Enthalpy of air, Humidity ration etc)of sample of
air via psychrometric chart.

The wet-bulb temperature is a type of temperature measurement that reflects the physical properties of a system with a mixture of agas and a vapor, usually air and water vapor.
The dry-bulb temperature is the temperature of air measured by a thermometer freely exposed to the air but shielded from radiation and moisture.
