-169.254.x.x
- 172.16.0.0 to 172.31.255.255
thse are default private ip ranges.

Class A ip address Range starts with 0-127 why because
inthe subnetmask 00000000 first bit is not used there fore
we are use 0-126.127 is range is used to loo
In Class B ip address range in subnetmask network field
first 2 bits are not used so next 64 ip address Range used
in B Class range is 128-191.
In Class C First 3 bits of Network bits are not used so
next 32 bits are used in Class C range is 192-224

Because class (A)Ip's are specified to networks with large number of total hosts. Class A allows for 126 networks by using the first octet for the network ID.
Class (B) Ip's .
This is the most widely used class by small businesses. When you look at the IP address, you'll notice that class C networks start with a first number that's between 192 and 223 (205.161.74.x for example). There can be up to 2,097,151 class C networks and each network can handle close to 254 computers.
As for D and E.... D class is used for broadcasting and E for future use.
