Hi,

Most of the bank exams will have the aptitude round and
general interview.. in some cases GD. Aptitude and GD are
only in some cases depending on the amount of candidates
applied or shortlisted by verifying their resumes.
Therefore, just give more weight age for the direct
interview than the others. I think direct interview will be
based on your computer knowledge, general tricky questions
and current affairs. Best Wishes!!

After shortlisting the candidates based on their
qualification, they will be called for interview wherein
they will have questions under the following sections.

1. Technical (UG, PG if applicable and computer literate
questions)
2. HR questions
3. Questions to check the knowledge in banking domain
4. Questions about your current job (could be technical too)
5. General knowledge and current affairs

hai friends, last po's interview my friend attended. he told
me they are asking mainly about present job nature, personal
details,local information regarding tourist places and
politics and finaly current affairs which covers recent
incidents in india or world. so all the best.

Hi all,
I attended the Interview on 14th September at Deccan
Plaza Hotles,Royapettah,Chennai.The interview was very
easy.The Liasion officer checked the certificates.He allows
if there is a subject called "Computer Practice".They did
not want special mentioning of MS-word,excel and access in
the mark sheet.Hope I cleared the confusion of some people
regarding this issue.There was no G.D.Only Direct Interview
was conducted.The interview panel consisted of 3 members-2
male and 1 female.They asked me simple questions like
1.Tell us about yourself
2.What are you doing currently
3.As I am not employed,they asked me why am not even
though I got good marks
4.I told them that I was preparing for IES.So they asked
why i was not able to clear the exam
5.Why I did not pursue higher studies
6.About My hobbies
7.What is Balance Sheet?
8.The deposits of the bank will be written as
Assets/Liablities?
9.About my Family background
10.Why banking?
11.I told them that I am interested in Mathematics.So
they asked to name few genius in Mathematics in my state.
12.I told them that my hobby is writing poems and reading
books.They asked me which kind of books I read generally.
13.Differences between Bharathiyar and Bharathidasan
14.As I did Civil Engineering,they asked me What is the
use for the bank in selecting me
15.They asked whether I am willing to join anywhere if I
am selected.
The Interview was easy.I heard that For IT people,they
were asking some technical questions...Per batch 25 people
are being interviewed and per day there are 2 batches.

Hi friends,
The bank will shortlist the candidates accoring
to their UG and PG marks.According to the bank website the
interview will be conducted after two months since the
shortlisting process going on dont worry....All the best to
all.......
