In analogue communication ,the signals is in continuous

In analog communication the data signal or the baseband
signal is continous analog signal
In digital communication the data signal is digital
signal...i.e.
If the transmission is digital, it is not necessary that the
communication is digital. Example PCM is just a digital
transmission of an analog signal.

Anolog->Anolog Signals are the one which are continuous in
time and continuous in amplitude.
Digital->Digital Signals are the one which are Discrete in
time and Discrete in amplitude.
By Discrete I mean that it should be an integer.

Analog signals are transmitted as it is in analog communication, (of course after modulating with a carrier :P), while in digital the signal goes through sampling and quantization.
