this comes under DMR ( Dimensional modeled relational ).

suppose we have REGION_ID and REGION_NAME.

While creating regular dimension level...

REGION_ID will treated as BUSINESS_KEY

AND

REGION_NAME will treated as MEMBER_CAPTION.

In the above regular dimension,

Using business_key ( REGION_ID ) we will display
member_caption ( REGION_NAME ).
