TDS is to be deducted and to be paid to the central
government on behalf of who receives any amount i.e
consultancy, contract income, rent or any under the head
prescribed by the government.
TDS is applicable if the payment is exceeds (one time
payment) Rs. 20,000/- or Rs. 50,000/- p.a during the year.
tds to be deducted as prescribed rates.

There are certain payments which are made by a company after
deducting certain amount of tax on it and that amount is
later on collected by the govt. For example, if a company
pays dividend to its shareholders, it will deduct a certain
amount as CDT(Corporate Dividend Tax). This deduction is
basically TDS

TDS which was implement by the indian govt.which can deduct on supplier invoice(only service provider).in this transportation exempted from tds...
we claim tds from govt or deduct amount from total tax which want to pay as income tax for every year
