Hi revathi,

You need to take only one photocpy of all ur certificates
nd 3 photocopies of ur biodata form + orginal biodata form
altogether u shud have 4 biodata forms,hope its clear now

Hi Friends,

Hope u all do ur interviews well..

@ Nalini..

Dont worry whether its ur first intervview, U will
definitely feel at home.. Because the questions they ask are
easy ones, not at all related to subjects..

So the interview will be a piece of cake, provided u dont
panic and make matters worse.

Even if you dont know the answer, there is nothing to worry.
They will explain you the answer. In my interview, i didnt
know the answer to the question, :" what does the Logo of
SBI signify.." i said it is a Keyhole logo, and i dont know
what it signifies. They explained me the significance of the
logo, which i have posted here as a separate entry.

So i repeat, just be cool and confident, then only they will
ask more questions. And if they ask more questions, consider
yourself passed the interview. If they dont ask much
questions, it probably means that they are not interested.

Greet them when u enter the room, and dont sit until asked.
These are the manners u must follow. i think u might be
aware of, but since u tell that this is ur first interview,
im guiding u with this.

Hi every body,

Congrats to all who have qualified for the interview.

First of all I want ask thanks for Akanshita, shruti,
Aditya, Anil,amit, pankaj, Hetal, parag and many others
those who are providing more details regarding SBI
interview. I am regular visitor to this site but I am unable
post interview details because till now I am not attend any
banking exams.

Yesterday(15/10/08) I finished my Interview. frnds don't
worry about interview questions. First you go through two or
three times through you bio data, and prepare details
regarding what you are written in the bio data, like
->Importance of your birth place,
->Importance of your district,
->College/University which you studied,
->importance of the different places you staying,
->great personalities born in your district etc.
->details regarding your extracurricular activities and your
achievements.
get prepare Positive answers for compulsory questions like
->Tell me about yourself,
->Tel me about your family,
->tell me about your previous job provder,
->your strong/weak points,
->why do you want joined SBI,
->why not using your higher qualifications,
->if you are undergoing graduate they definitely ask
->if we take you what you do your studies
->If you completed degree in more then 2years they will ask
what you doing till now.
->If you working why you want leave present job?
(frnds please give positive answer for this)

and also prepare daily importance /common knowledge of your
subject studies in degree or 10+2, like what is chemistry,
who is the founder of biochemistry etc.

frnds already you shown your knowledge in the written test
therefore they don't want test your knowledge they want test
your activities and communication skill personnely,
therefore they will ask very friendly easy and basic
question. So face all questions with smile definitely
victory is yours

Hiii..... Freinds,

I finished my interview yesterday.

Be Cooool Guys.
Its nt gonna very tough. The panel consists 3-4 members and
in my panel there were three members.
They asked most of the question from my acedmic background
and some questions from current G.K. The duration of
interview was 10-12 minutes.if anyone have experience they
can ask about that also.

Some of the questions asked to me are as below.

1. How did u miss your 1st division in B.Com by 1% as I had
Ist division in 12th and P.G too.
2.what your father Do?
3.Why do you wanna come in Banking Sector?
4.What u know about US crisis and does it effect our indian
economy and if yes how?
5. How will you manege your study(I m doing MBA by
Correspondence)with the Job?
6. How this MBA will be useful for Bank.
7. How will you attracts NRI customers who come to India
very rarely.

and one question may be from your hobby also.

did u answer regarding the US crises question....I am not

feel they help me a lot and with this inspiration i will
attend my interview on 20th with lot of confidence.

and also for the q. can we deposit money to other banks in
sbi atm's.

I m from Meerut and You.

US Crisis is all about Sub-Prime Loans.

Sub-Prime loans means giving loans to individuals without
checking his capability of repayment and background.
Banks attracts to Sub prime loans coz they get heavy
interest on that.
In USA the same things happened when lehmen distributed
such subh prime loans in very huge amount.

This is all about US Crisis.

now a days.. market has started going up..so i guess we
should add this point as well if we are asked about the
Crisis as the infusion of money by all economies is getting
the market out of recession..
