Hi friends.....
i also had my interview on 13th at Thiruvananthapuram,
Kerala. The interview panel consisted of 3 members. As
Deepika's already said der's notin 2 worry abt. I's so much
tensed whn i entered into the room. but once i's der i felt
very much relaxed b'coz those in d panel were very jolly...
and dey didn't put any stress on me....
n now d qns...
1st of all dey asked sum details like whr u did schoolin?
wht u r doin now... like dat....
then as i left d column wid hobby unfilled dey asked abt
dat.... i just said dat i don't've any hobbies in
particular.... then dey asked me to tell abt myself.....
den dey asked abt d importance of Thiruvananthapuram [my
place]. den asked wht u know abt SBI?
as i'm a b-tech student doin final year , n my course'll
not be finished till june 2009 dey asked me abt dat, if
der's any way of completing d course widout attendin
colg... and as i's placed in a s/w company dey asked me wch
1 do u prefer... so i said i prefer a more secure job, i'e.
sbi... so these're d qns asked 4 me....
den sum others're asked abt d latest news... news on
sports... who all won olympics medals.... wht abt d cricket
tournament goin on??? whn sbi was established[in 1955]....
how many local head offices do sbi have?
so these're d qns i knw...

dey said that dey were not checkin ur knowledge b'coz u've
proved it at d test itself... dey're just checkin for ur
communication skills & ur attitude.... so be confident.....

Hi, I attended SBI clerical exam on Nov 22,2009. Marked 35 questions in Marketing/computer aps,20 in English, 15 in Quanz,25 in Reasoning, 10 in General Awareness correctly. But answered atmost 25 in every section. Is there any possibility for me to get selected? What is the selection criteria they follow in SBI, to shortlist the candidates?

I posted a post already today (23.05.2009, 11:30 hrs, SBI Staff Training Centre, West Maredpally, Sec'bad) morning immediately after i attended the interview of SBH Clerical from Hyderabad Region. Now I am giving some material on Clerical interview for the benefit of your good selves. SLR - Statutory liquidity ratio - 24% at present (RBI range25% - 40%) CRR - Cash reserve ratio - 5 % at present Repo rate - 4.75 % at present - It is the rate at which RBI lends money to Banks Reverse Repo Rate - 3.25% - It is the rate at which Banks park their funds with RBI Bank Rate - 6% at present - It is the rate at which RBI lends money to Banks Main difference between Repo rate and Bank rate is that Repo rate is the discounting offered by the RBI on the monetary bill hold by the Banks Savings Bank Rate - 3.5% for SBH & SBI Call money rate - 2.25% - 4.30% - It is the rate of interest charged by the banks for temporary borrows among banks Legar Tender Money - Currency issued by RBI Optional Money - Cheques, DDs, Bankers Cheques Plastic Money - Credit card, Debit card Credit card is ready made overdraft in e-form for buying good and services by the card holder within specified limits and according to terms and conditions of the issuer Bank without having any account.
