Hi all of you. As far as I have the information there
would be questions about ur educational qualifications
(e.g, if u are an MBA,3 to 4 questions wud b from
marketting... ur hobbies (be clear what u say and be
conscious and confident) don't worry friends it would be
easy if u answer them with confidence and be sure u behave
well in the interview ie, way of clothing,sitting position
and gestures, maintaining eye contact etc. The most
important thing is that you should be confident about what
r you saying.It does not matter if you don't know some
answer.Stay cool and calm.Say them sorry and move to next
question.
My interview is on 21st oct.I would be very grateful to all
of you for your suggestions and experiences.Take care.See

One info that i would like to share about SBI is
It does not do regional banking so only those states dat
dont have regional legacy are merged with SBI like State
Bank Of Saurashtra.

State Bank Of Patiala and Hydbd have strong legacy in their
regions so they cant be merged with SBI.

Ok Only this much for now.

Hi Rashmi,
I think you should be very careful to answer this
question because its very tricky.I have two years of
experience in teaching.And as teaching is the best job for
girls I will also face this problem.But we have to face
this question very effectively . I think the best answer
should be its all about interest.As I am interested in this
field and very passionate about that. Our main aim is to be
the best candidate interviewer has ever interviewed. Thats
all. So nothing to worry about.You have sufficient
qualification for the post applied.

i think the interview board will be very codeal(as heard
4rm one of my frnd who got selected).
we should have 2 concentrate on current affairs, all d
banking terms , monetary policy adopted by govt. to control
inflation,etc.

well our knowledge hub is getting more and more intelligent
friends day by day..n thats really very cool... well
Akanshita n Garishma, my interview is on Oct 22....sorry
couldnt reply ya earlier.. anyways... as we all are supposed
to share the knowledge we have ... i agree with Swati that
somehow we all are over qualified for this job but mere
anwering that we had interest in this clerical job wont do
.. as if they are witty enough then their probable next
question would be

"Where do you see yourself after 5 years from now.. how does
this monotonous work of numbers interest ya.. n if ya say
you enjoy it or its fun for you then whats fun in it... so
better we dont simply say that we have interest in it ... n
if we do then they might ask why we had we done the
graduation in engineering n stuff...


so better be prepared well for this question.. any good
interviewer doesnt come up with many questions in his
mind... he just picks questions from your answers... so try
not to give any such answer that make it difficult for you
to get through the next one... alright!!!!

n telling about our achievements n boasting are two seperate
things.. so dont hesitate to tell your achievements but if
ya are describing yourself as a person then try to keep your
personal life out of the room... dont let your eyes blur for
you recalled some bad incident of your life.. i know not
many would do that...but a few do ..


i guess thats enough on the general interview tips... some
knowledge should be shared/...about the current affairs..
