all original certificates and i have my interview on 16th
oct so it is very difficult for me to make new ones so plz
any one can help me regarding dis issue can i put
photocopies of my documents now and submit original after
sumtime

you asked me why i wanna be clerk as i m an engineer. i m
working in a private company. It's clear that everyone
wanna permanent and life settled job. I will frankly say
that i want a permanent job even though i m earning more
than a SBI Clerk. Is there's anyone who didnt wanna
permanent government job??

Why don't u ask the same question to the persons who had
finished MBA , MCA ?? Are u thinking that persons who are
selected 4 interview are jobless?? You didnt know how many
management graduates and even some state government
employees also applied for this post.Many people working in
MNC and buying salary which is more than the salary of a
SBI clerk ,also applied for this post and some of them also
selected for interview. Ask them to quit from this
Interview.

Why u don't ask the same question to them??

Its clear that they will take the marks scored in written
test. During Counsellings , it's a protocol that Highest
mark achiever will be called first and goes on.

I think same rule is followed in this selections also. But
this is only my assumption. Coz even persons scored minimum
pass also called for Interview. Is there anyone know their
marks in written test??????

As i already told person scored 90% in written test have
more chance than the person who scored 70% even though both
of them performed well in Interview.

Without keeping this mind there's no use in discussing
questions asked in Interview. Plz reply or scold me if it's
a blabbering, Friends

I think you should carry on with your current job, because
you are getting already a good salary and if you are
expecting the same from this job then you have to wait a
minimum of 14 to 15 years and after that its not sure it is
because of our countrie's economical condition as
well........yeah salary will increase but not that much it
will take a lot of time so if you r satisfied with your job
then i think you should not quit that but think yourself
once again........and offcouse in pvt. co. or in MNCs you
will always get double or triple if you have burden of your
family then you should stay with your current
job........Now its all upon you....best of luck

hii sorry to say this but that id is for customer and we
should not say that to them because they already cleared in
the advertisement that the salary would be this and this so
we all should think carefully if we r ready then we should
join otherwise we shoud just forget about this........it
should be your personnel decision and it will not effective
at all even if we will request to increase that salary
because there r so many candidate who r student and they r
satisfied with this.......so we should not do anything
about this matter and we can't do that....sorry if i told
anything wrong........

No..., if you would not be upto their mark then they will
just increase your probationary period thats all.......yeah
there is chances but that is very few......u don't worry
for that there is solution for every problem if we will
face that situation they will tell you the solution but i
don't think that is going to happpen with anyone if you all
will work from your mind and hearts and if you will give
your 100%............so best of luck for you and all who r
going to select here.........

crr-cash reserve ratio is d percentage of bank reserve to
deposits $ notes. it is also known as cash assets ratio or
liquidity ratio....

repo rate- it is d rate at which our bank borrows fund frm
RBI. a reduction in rr will help d bank to get money at
cheeper rates.

actually d information i hav abou rr and crr are:-

repo rate on 11 june08 was 8.0 it got increased to 8.5 on
june 25

crr on 5 july 08 was 8.5 nad it will get 8.75 on 19 july 08

hello folks...

how are you all doing... sorry didnt post the rest of the
answers earlier...well it was asked about CBS (core banking
system... well, as far as i know it is the system by which
bank allows the external sources to help with the banking
transactions


b'coz the transaction cost at the banks is nearly Rs. 50 per
transaction where as through ATM it is Rs. 18 and through
internet it is nearly Rs 10. so SBI bu introducing CBS in
its working is hoping to reduce its transactional cost in
crores, but it wont be reducing its branches or lay off its
employees in fact hiring new ones so it would be notional..
by the way TCS(Tata Consultancy Services) is officially
appointed for CBS in SBI....the need of CBS in SBI was felt
in 2006 i guess



After that question being asked by Hetal was why SBS is
chosen to be merged, well it was may just coz they were
having legacy in their region n this merger was proposed
about two years ago.,...


And for CRR n SLR...nobody has discussed the relation
between them yet..Share whatever ya all know...


will catch ya laters...


n yeah the current issuses about other stuff then banking
should also be discussed...So, be wise enough n share with
all to help them doing best in the exam..
