according to Hindu paper it is 62.5% , so roughly 6000
attended the english exam.

i think 90 marks in every paper was very difficult
...because...tha max marks for every answer is 7-8
marks...with that..if one can write the 10 questions
sufficiently..(10*7=70)..remaining 5 avg 4
marks..5*4=20..70+20=90..but this is not possible for every
body...particularly this mains exams...time was main
constraint....majority ppl r wrote ..8 questions
sufficiently..remainng are nt satisfied the examiner...by
that ..my expectation was for reserved cat...overall score
was ....390-410...non-reserved cat...420-450...

If we go throgh the data of previous group-1 scores
even those who scored above 500 only called for interview.U
may disagree on that case because it was different but the
over all wrighting capability of the persons are same
eventhough the subject are different.even in civil services
those scores above 55% are called for interview.

by news paper reports , the valuation of Mains answer
papers is going on. i heard around 2000 + failed in English.
i do not how far its true.

we can expect mains result in sep second week based on the
supreme courts verdict.

Any idea when the group-1 case verdict can be expected. the
court is taking unduly long time here..

i heard that the exam on the whole may be cancelled...

hi frnds the valuation of the mains mark sheets has been
completed.tabulation work was going on .... chairman said
that the results will be ready after 10 days i.e sept
10th......waiting for suprem court judgement......

i heard that the TOP scores in the group1 exam,
Paper V:132
Paper IV:112

So it seems the highest marks:
2*115(on avg for the above 2 papers for the Topper)+
3*85(as per our earlier answers, expectation)
=230+255=485.

I think probably it should be around 500 - 550 for open
category. I think so
