Raw mill is nothing but the milll which is used for the
grinding the material upto desire fineness using mechanical
or hydraulic force..

there are basically two type of raw mills
1. ball mill (horizontal mill)
2. verticle roller mill

Specific strength of materials is very high when they are in fibre size but lower when they are in bar form why ?
