1.Defect id
2.Description or summary
3.Steps to Reproduce
4.Actual Result
5.Expected Result
6.Attach A screen shot
7.Assigned to
8.detected by
9.priority(i used to assign priority only)
10.severity
11.enviroment
12.Browser........etc
one important thing is ,when a team deciedes to use a
tool,the tool wil be customised according to the
requirements.then it is implemented.but above are the some
of the important things we use when reporting a defect or
we can say ,when logging a defect.
