Testing is needed bcuz you can not put any software without
being properly tested to the market. If it is not tested
then there is more probability for it to have bugs that can
cause a lot of loss in terms of money as well as reputation
of the company. I think this answers all of your questions.

This is scenario based question atht I faced in an interview-"There are 2 systems with SIMILAR H/W and S/W configurations. I opened my gmail account from 1st system and I could open my gmail account successfully & able to operate it without any problem.
