Its a combination of list,crosstab,chart ..... like that
every individual report is a simple report and the
combination of two or more in a single report which gives a
clear analysing for a single view that is in a single
report is a complex report.Simple......

Hi...
As far as I am there are no such reports defined as a
complex reports. It's entirely based on the requirements.
Most of the time the reporting requirement based on the
business requirements.
In my cognos experience I have faced lot of challenges when
developing reports for finance users/consumers like balance
sheet reports and Profit and loss accounting reports etc..
Make sure that you are comfortable with the functionalities
of the cognos reporting and try to relate things...

Complex reports are those reports where it needs advanced
reporting. where we need to use more then one query,multiple
report types to retrieve data. where conditional formatting
is involved or more joins are there in models. these are
some examples which will make simple report to complex reports.

complex reports are depends up on the requirement.say for
example in one repot i need to have 16 prompts and when
user logs in second time he can able to see prompts pages
when he enters firsttime dependig up on sattic values he
had given.how you do this report.this is my requirement.
for this i used stored procedures ....this is kind of
complex report
