i had undergone IBM ceis program in chennai ,it depends on
which private center u study.around 25 member were in my
batch but nody get placed since 4 months after completion
and certificates are not isuused even though everybody got
above 80 % of score .my advice is to think twice before
joining ,they simply canvassed us cheated .according to me
ceis wont let u a bright career,you will understand soon

hey buddy,
can u update ur present status plz..i had gone to centres
where they showed me their placed students last year..i can
c the post was during the recession time.They did accept
that they couldnot place u ppl for 6-7 months but ftr that
they did...frnz plz do lemme knw r u ppl placed yet..if yes
howz the job up there

IBM CEIS is total FRAUD!!!!!

They have tied up with some private coaching centres and are
trying to lure students on names of their Over Valued
Enterprise level products.

Even IBM doesn't recruit the Students who get training through
IBM CEIS.

Moreover the Market share of IBM Technologies is less than
5% in Services industries

IBM Lotus is a piece of SHI* these days and has been
overshadowed with Google APPS

And what does SOA mean to a fresher???

My advice for a fresher would be , to opt for open-source
technologies rather than to go for proprietary products.

thanx for the reply rajeev...yeah i appreciate your
advice...But am not doing course on those soa or lotus but
on DB2........IBM INDIA doesnot recruit all that i know but
we can be placed in the companies lyk connectiva and even
tcs ,cts...correct me if am wrong...Moreover its not that if
i knw only IBM AIX and db2 i cnt work on SUN SOLARIS or
ORACLE...The teachers are from IBM INDIA that i knw ..so plz
frnd do reply to me il appreciate all advices and
sugggestions ..
