can i connect two computers to internet using same line?

ya it is true ,we can connect 2 computers to internet using
same line,for that we don't need any hub or switch.but we
need 2 nic card or 2 modem or 1nic card and 1 modem.in one
system.in that system we will connect the internet wire.and
we will configure internet connection sharing.and from the
other modem or nic port we will connect the other
computer.and then we can use internet in both the system at
a time.but if the first sytem is turned off then the second
sytem can not acess internet.

just buy multiport modem/router and i think min 4port are
there u can connect even 4 pc's but if u feel u wantlow
cost and only 2 pc better go for another nic card and share
lan
