In order to deploy reports from one server u need to go to
content sdministration ,create folder (new import) in the
dev env and get all your files and folders, packages in
there copy them then go to the production env create a
folder(new export)and paste all your files and folders in
this new export. click next tabs as many times they come
and all our folders and packages will get copied there.
we can create our IQD in framework manager the moment we
get query subject in our framework manager select it
then down we can see one property EXTERNALISE METHOD there
we have an option to set the query subject as iqd

First Install the Latest version of Cognos in New
server.Copy all your scripts (Perl Scripts & as well as
shell scipts) to your new server and build your cube on new
server.After building the cube bring all your reports using
ftp and run your reports.
To create IQD with out using IMR is write your own SQL
based on your requirement and save as IQD.Some of the
clients will use only Cognos Powerplay, In those cases when
you build the cube you have to write your own SQL to create
your IQD's.
