Canada has been ranked the first place for women fit to live , where as India ranks the last , even below afganisthan where women were given the right to vote in only 2011 among the G20 nations ! isnt this speaking about the status of women in India ?? I ofcourse agree women have been improving and developing than before , they get good education getting employed as men , but not all women ! still there is illitracy , dowry and other cruel practices which make their life doomed forever.. half of the reports of women are molesting and harassing in the work place ! can u be sure that ur daughter or ur sister who goes out in midnight for work or some important duty can return home safe without getting caught in the hands of badguys and theft ?? Only wen we get yes for this question we can say women are as men in our country ..

Are we Indians treating male and females on equal ground?
The answer to this question is a big 'NO'. Introduction of
female reservation concept has once again upsurge the rise
in gender discrimination. Is reservation the right solution
or allowing every individual(irrespective male or female)to
step up the ladder based on merit? Is this happening in
other countries? If yes then I am sorry but this is gender
discrimination. Freedom of speech, Equal rights, Education
rights, basic instinct strength need not be compared based
on gender but that unfortunately I can experience it at all
level and almost everywhere in India. Truth, equality,
safety and love matters to every individual. It should not
be bias based on gender. A female lodging a complain
against male for any reason, a male is behind the bar with
no investigation. The power of female is more than the so
called truth. There are many other things I can bring in as
rightly mentioned by Chanakaya. Don't forget, a female
ruling our country today.
