In Cognos 8.3
1) Upgrade Manager:- It is a new tool which will test the
reports which are migrated from Cognos report net to Cognos 8
2) Report Studio Express: - It falls between Query Studio
and Report Studio
3) Portals Improvement done
4) Performance of analysis Studio is increased
5) Look and Feel also changed
6) Authoring modes:(Professional mode,Express mode)
7) Cognos Administration Applet :- Which will tell the
current number of users working on Cognos Tool.

The UI of Cognos Connection has greatly changed. Also those
RS reports with JavaScript would fail as the html elements
are modified in v8.3, meaning the script should be updated
to make the reports work again.
