ethernet cable should be the best option if you want to
connect two routers directly, because serial cable has a
speed of 1.5 MBPS while ethernet cable has a speed of 10to
100 MPBS.

Hi,
You cannot connect 2 Routers with ethernet anc Serial Cable
you require DCE cable which communicates between 2 Routers.
We can make out which router has high speed from the
version of IOS installed if both the routers are having
same version of IOS then the speed will be same and it the
version of IOS is greater then the previous version then
the speed will be high.Mostly people beleive Bandwidth will
increase the speed but it router which will by pass
bandwidth to whole network and WAN.

here is your question sahin Hi Jitendera, If i m not wrong, then in EIGRP, Metric weight is set to K1(Bandwidth)=1, K2(Delay)=0, K3(Reliability)=1, K4(Load)=0, K5(MTU)=0. This is default setting for EIGRP. I knew about it from ICND 2 cisco press book. Three more questions - a) If we change the K value (I mean metric weight)on a router what will happen??? b) When redistribution is necessary in EIGRP. Is there any condition for that??? c) What is reference bandwidth for metric calculation in EIGRP. As we know, in OSPF, on a CISCO router reference bandwidth is 10Mbps.
