Answer / palzkumar

I think, the question is about how to provide a security to
he purticular report.
if so, publish report into another folder, then u create
two roles in cognos connection for the user, one is for
accessing all report, another role to access to this
purticular report..

how u create security to reports ???? ..

Answer / mohamed aashik ilahi

Security to reports only, not for the model created.
So, a normal parameter map can be used to restrict some
users from viewing the confidential details of a company.
Normally a username and the quotient which is set for them,
so we can restrict them using the quotient no.

for eg:
Username Quotient
Admin 1
User1 2
User2 2
S_User1 3
