Given total distance already ie equal to 120km
T1 = (120/2) / 60 = 1 hr
T2 = (120/2) / 40 = 1.5 hr
Total time T = 2.5 hr
Average speed = 120 / 2.5
= 48 kmph

T2(Time Taken to return)=120/40=3
Total Distance=120+120=240
Total Time=2+3=5
So, Avg speed=total distn/time=240/5=48kmph

There are 3 ponds and rose plant in the garden of a magician. The ponds are magical and when we put flower in it, it will double them. The magician to test his assistant sets this task.
