If it is SQL Server 2005

SQL Server 2005 is providing a new technologies like xml
genaration and MARS technology which allows u to modify the
data in the active set by more than one connection at a time

which is not there in Oracle till now

RETERIVING THE DATA'S FROM THE SQL SERVER.
