in my openion yes we can do this,....
using linked universe concept.
suppose we hv univ A connected to database Da
univ B conn to Db
univ C conn to Dc
now we can create univ E wiich is linked to univ A,B ,C.
correct me if i would be wrong......

The Various data source are:
Universe
Free-Hand SQL/
Stored procedures
OLAP servers
Personal data files
VB procedures
Any number of data Source can be linked by common dimensions
Features of Dimensiion:
The dimension objects do not have to have the same name
(e.g. Person, Person Name)
Only dimension objects can be linked (e.g. Person
Name,Encounter Type,etc..)
The dimension objects must have a common data format (e.g.
character, numeric, etc.)
Common values must be in the same case etc..

yeahwe can have universe conn to more than one data
base....how we can can achieve is creating the db link
between two data bases and then conn universe two any of
the db
