There are twelve consecutive flags at an equal interval of
distance. A man passes the 8th flag in 8 seconds. How many
more seconds will he take to pass the remaining 4 flags?

there are 12 consequtive flags, 8 th flag can be passed by
8 sec.
so the time to cross one flag is =8/7 sec,
remaining 4*8/7 = 32/7seconds.

he start at the first flag and then he crosses the
remaining 7 flags at 8secs.therefore his speed is
8/7=1.14sec.so if his speed is constant then he will cross
the remaining 4 flags at
4*1.14 = 4.56secs

the man passes 8th flag in 8 sec... here the qtn has 8 TH,
denoting after 7 TH flag, he passes the * TH flag, in 8
seconds... that means to pass one flag, it takes 8 seconds.
for 4 more flags, it will take 8 x 4 = 32 seconds...

for each flag it takes 8/7sec
now remaing are 4
stating from 8th flag it remains 3 flag to pass
