There are twelve consecutive flags at an equal interval of
distance. A man passes the 8th flag in 8 seconds. How many
more seconds will he take to pass the remaining 4 flags?

since there are 12 consecutive flags and the man passes the
8th flag in 8sec then he takes 8/7 times the time to cross
one flag i.e.approx.1.14sec.therefore the next 4 flags can
be passed in approx. 4.56sec i.e.1.14*4
