The Difference between the PRODUCT and PROJECT TESTING is
PRODUCT TESTING:
Requirements are gathered by company it self-based end
users needs.
It involves long term Testing.
Testing is conducted at customer site by end users.
Testing is conducted in real environment.
PROJECT TESTING:
The customers exclusively give requirements.
It involves limited testing.
Testing is conducted at developer?s site.
Testing is conducted in virtual environment.

Product Testing:
1) Product will have company it self as a client.
2) Product doesn't have any deadlines.
3) Product is ongoing development process.
Project Testing:
1)Application will have only one client.
2)Application will have deadlines.
3)Application has set of requirement's.

a) Both are different and tests are the some same
b) See the product testing: - The product testing is
nothing but already developed by the on application testing
is called the product testing
c) This test which company developed by the project,
that company doing or some special product companies are
there in market, this companies also doing.
d) Which purpose the product testing means adds the
some extra futures and previous faults over come to the
project.
e) Now see the project testing: -The project testing
is nothing but developed the version by and version and
that version meet to the client requirements or not test is
called the project testing
f) Here have the so many types of testing there. Like
White, block box tests
g) This is the all companies follows some companies
are followed the product testing.

Product testing : The developing company implement it's
requirements on the product and the developed product is for
any customer , so the testing performed on such products is
called product testing.
Project testing : The customer gives his specific
requirements to the developing company, so it develops the
product based on that requirements and the product is for
that particular customer only is known as project based
product and testing performed on such products is called
project testing.

As a Test Analyst, what is the first thing you do when you receive the Functional Spec for a project?

They showed me a Web page containing 3 text boxes labeled as Name, D.O.B & Blood Group.It also have 3 Buttons as OK, CANCEL,Reset. They told me that 1) when you click on OK it'll route you to the next page and save the data in the database. 2) When you click on CANCEL it'll route you to the previous page. 3) When you click on Reset it'll clears all the entries made by you. Now they asked me to write Test cases to test the functionality of that web page & asked me to write 1 critical test case after which they will give final go ahead to test the rest of the application... I wasn't able to write the critical test case. Plz answer.
