Explain couchdb vs mongodb?
Answer / Lakhan Singh
CouchDB is a document-oriented NoSQL database, while MongoDB is also a document-oriented database. CouchDB supports full-text search and map/reduce functions out of the box, while MongoDB has faster data access and stronger support for indexing. CouchDB uses JSON for documents and handles conflicts between concurrent writes better, whereas MongoDB uses BSON.
