ia a man hole is designed and manufactured in complex shapes like rectangle or triangle or in square shape , thereare some stresses developed at the edges due to uneven cooling of metal crystals during casting . the high pressures developed in the vessels firstly weakened the highly stressed parts and tends to repture and failure ,so mainly round shapes and elliptical shapes are considered to manufacture
