hi all, I have installed QTP successfully on windows vista. I am able to record and run on windows applications, but facing problem with web applications. While recording, I am able to open the web application, but when I click on any object or give login name and password, the events are not getting recorded in QTP. Could anyone solve the problem. Any settings to be done for web applications other than selecting web-addin? Waiting for replies. Thanks in advance.

I have to do testing for XML file using QTP. 1. I was given a sample XML, I had to edit that with my actual data and had to make a new XML-- this part is completed, I did that. 2. Now I have to copy the exact contents of that XML file and have to paste it in a web application as a request message for web appliaction processing, using QTP. So I am unable to copy and paste it in web application, please help me out.

hai friends i already ask this question but when i post the question the alignment goes wrong .....my question is we have a WEB TABLE ....assume that web table having 3 row's and 3 column here in 2nd row 3rd column having VISIT FACEBOOK link...now i want to check the VISIT FACEBOOK link is available or not ..if it's there i want to click the link ...then how to find the web table row or column count ....don't write the excel or data table script here friends .....consider that it's a WEB TABLE do a favour ...thank's
