RTCP (Real-time Transport Control Protocol) works alongside RTP (Real-time Transport Protocol) in VoIP networks. Its purpose is to provide control functions for RTP, such as reporting quality of service, monitoring jitter, measuring bandwidth utilization, and synchronizing session members.
