What is the difference between a hub and a switch?
Answer / Jay Shanker
A hub is a networking device that broadcasts all incoming data packets to every connected device on the network segment. In contrast, a switch is a more advanced device that only sends data packets to their intended recipient, based on the MAC address of the destination device. This results in improved network performance and reduced traffic congestion.
