Label the disks by using #format utility. Run #vxdctl enable (or) #vxdisk scandisks to recongnize disks by veritas.Check the disks under veritas control by #vxdisk -e list .Use #vxdisksetup to intialize disks under veritas and add to DG.

when i am starting solaris10 with 'fail safe mode' on intel machine it is asking "#starting shell".what is it and how to solve this problem?
