1. Centrifugal pump is used to drain the coolant from the
machine to coolant tank via magnetic separator and paper
filter. But more foam is raising in the coolant tank. We
need to arrest the foam formation inside tank which is nt
desired. How do we correct this issue? (Hardness of the
water is at recommended ppm).

Foam is mainly produced due to higher velocity.In order to
reduce the velocity, as per the continuity equation, area
should be increased.

one can simply use a rotary pump istead of a centrifugal pump...as the centrifugal pump causes foam formation of the fluid.
