this is a trick question napthlene is not used in HPLC calibration ,in most Copamies Caffine is used as a standard because it is cheaper,easily available,giving minima and maximas at a range of wavelenght and also vendors fisrt chice otherwise uracil may also be used

I Think naphalene is not used in the hplc calibration.
caffeine is used in hplc calibration bcoz it is a
primarystandard.
